A horrific look into the minds of thirteen writers from various genre's trapped, at their own request, in a boat house at Silt Coos Lake, Oregon. They have twenty-four hours to write a ghost short story from scratch. For at 6pm the next night there will be dinner and reading of their stories in the dim light of a single candle as the boat house croaks and groans with the wind and waves off the lake.
The best of several previous years have been collected in these anthologies. The binding factor of the volumes are that they are guaranteed to strike laughter at times and fear at other. There is everything from a haunted toaster to a demonic baby that keeps trying to be reborn each generation.
